| Ingredients |
01. White flour - 1 ½ cups 02. Butter - ½ cups 03. Eggs - 5 05. Milk - 2 cups 06. Heavy whipping cream - 1 ½ cups |
| Preparation |
| 01. Heat oven to 180oC 02. Grease a baking tray of about 9” x 13” and keep aside. 03. Sift the white flour and baking powder. 04. Combine the butter and sugar till it becomes smooth. To this add the eggs one after the other. Add ½ tsp vanilla essence and mix well. 05. To the mix fold in the maida bit by bit. Mix well, pour on baking tray and bake for 30 minutes. 06. Using a fork pierce the cooked cake at random. 07. Combine 2 cups of milk, the condensed milk and the double toned milk and pour over the slightly warm cake, so that it thoroughly soaks. 08. Combine the heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla essence and beat well. Pour over the cake. 09. Serve cold. 10. Tastes great with fresh fruits too. |
